This is a model of a hydraulic water fountain. Water from the basin flows by gravity into the air supply container. This water forces the air in the supply container to move into the water supply container.Where the increased air pressure in the water supply container forces the water in the water supply container to issue out the top as a fountain into the basin. The fountain water caught in the basin will drain back to the air supply container. The flow will stop when the water supply container is empty.
