The Kakum National Park is made up of mostly undisturbed virgin rainforest and is one of the famous national parks and tourists sites in Ghana. Students were tasked to select a tourist site in Ghana and redesign it, this was geared towards creating a more attractive tourist site and preserving its natural resources.The Protype KaKum National Park has 20 Tree Top platforms, that reach the height of 40 meters above the forest floor, A Water fountain, A museum, Moonlight Cabins, kids Play Ground, Auditorium, a restaurant and a shop for souvenirs. The prototype was built with plywood, card board paper and cut out images.
